Shawnee Becker

Hi friends! My name is Shawnee and here's a little something about me. I am a mom to a beautiful 12 year old girl, a nurse of 25 years, a real estate agent and a certified yoga instructor. I discovered yoga while living in CA in 2004 and it was one of the best things I could have done for myself.  I received my certification in Colorado when I felt my passion for yoga needed more. Yoga has always been important to me. It's raw and vulnerable for both teachers and students. Whether a good day, a bad day, yoga has been the most grounding addition to any day for me. Especially those days when it's hard to even go to class.  My senses become heightened and I land in a space where I can check out to check within. I try not to take myself too seriously. I find the easier I am on myself the more present I am.  The more present I am the more my life really wakes up and teaches me what I am ready to learn. Teaching yoga is that for me. And in that moment I always remain the student♥️
